Eunice Kim is an award-winning audio and digital producer, story editor and journalist based in Toronto, Canada.She spent nearly a decade at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), where she worked on a range of critically-acclaimed projects with an emphasis on rich, narrative storytelling and intricate reporting. Some examples include true-crime series Someone Knows Something and Uncover, and the country’s most-listened-to daily news program The Current.Eunice has extensive experience in podcast production — developing, outlining, pitching, producing, writing and story editing — while also collaborating with teams from diverse technical backgrounds, including film, television and print.She has spoken about podcasting and audio storytelling in classrooms and conferences in Canada, the U.S. and South Korea, including PodCamp and Resonate Podcast Festival. As an industry panellist for programs like Indigenous 150+ and Hot Docs Podcast Development Lab, she has mentored and supported emerging creators.Eunice was part of the third cohort of Neon Hum Media Editors’ Bootcamp, a training program focused on the art of story editing for limited-run narrative podcasts.Currently available for contract, full-time or freelance opportunities in audio and digital production, story editing, research, project management and podcast consulting.
